The six steps

Step 3, direction and cast

Pick a creative direction (or several, when your order has enough lifestyle shots) and one to three people, then choose Lock my picks or Show me another round with your notes.

Updated · 1 min read

We write four directions and four people from your brief, each shown as a picture. None of your campaign has been made yet.

Make your picks

  1. Step 1: Pick a direction. If your order has several lifestyle shots, you can pick more than one: we split the shots across them, and the first one you pick leads.
  2. Step 2: Pick one to three people. One person means the same face in every shot. Two or three means group shots.
  3. Step 3: Choose Lock my picks and keep going, or Show me another round.
  4. Step 4: Add notes on anything to change.
  5. Step 5: Send the board.

Optional extras

  • Love one of these pictures as it is? We keep it as one of your finals and fix only the product, to your real product at its true size.
  • Like someone in a direction picture? Pick them and we add them as a casting option, with a close-up and a full-body picture. Picking someone there starts another round, even if you chose Lock, so you can see them first.

Lock or another round?

Lock when a direction and your people feel right: production starts. Show me another round makes new options from your notes, and keeps what you liked. Say what's off, like "younger, early 20s, more put together". Your notes here win over the customer profile we found.

If that didn't work

Only one direction to pick? You can pick one per lifestyle shot in your order. For more variety, see adding more assets.
