Receipts, cards and invoices

Your Billing page lists every order with its receipt and card, the account owner changes cards and billing details there, and for an invoice with your company name you ask through Help.

Receipts

Your receipts are on your Billing page.

  1. Step 1: Go to Billing, from your Account page.
  2. Step 2: Find the order and press Receipt. Stripe's receipt opens in a new tab.

Each order shows its price, any discount, the card used and its status.

Change your card or billing details

  1. Step 1: Press Manage cards on Billing to change your card, or Edit in Stripe to change the name, email, address and tax ID on your billing details.
  2. Step 2: Save the change on Stripe's page.

Only the account owner can change cards or billing details.

Need an invoice with your company name?

For an invoice with your company name, ask through Help. Orders come with a receipt, not an invoice, so there is no invoice to download yet. Send your company name, address, any tax number and which order, and a person sends you an invoice.

We never see or store your full card number, so never type one into Help or an email.

Charged twice?

Check Billing first. A charge your bank shows as pending, with no matching order on Billing, is often a temporary hold. A released hold drops off your statement on its own, on your bank's timing. If you still see two charges for one order, ask through Help. A person checks it and fixes a real double charge.

If that didn't work

"We don't have billing details for this account yet" means they appear after your first payment.
